11k was for work that need to be done and all that he was paying was interest only .... he is now in perth so dont think he is really that bothered ..... just need some advice on how i can get my mother out of this b4 she looses her life long home !!!!!!!!!!

Is that Perth in Scotland, or Australia?
Is this nephew aware that the house is about to be repossesed? If not, he may still be under the impression he will inherit the house sometime in the future. He may be more willing to help if he knows that any money he did pay towards the mortgage will be money down the drain if the house is repossessed.

How much is the house currently worth? How much is oustanding on the mortgage?

    Did she understand this bit?

YOUR HOME IS AT RISK IF YOU DO NOT KEEP UP REPAYMENTS ON A MORTGAGE OR OTHER LOAN SECURED ON IT.

i dont think he'll be bothered about what he paid in to the house.
If it was an interest only mortgage it was probably less that the rent he would have paid as a lodger.

    Shame on him.
You and your sibling will inherit the house, probably if you can all club to gether and get her out of the mess he has put her in.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.
