Their systems were transferred over to ING Direct 3 weeks ago. If you have a login for ING Direct it will show up under that. If not, get one!
There is also an option to sign up for a promotional rate (currently 3.5% variable) for 6 months.0 -

Sorry to laugh, but have you been hiding under a rock.
I was on holiday in the USA and heard that ING had taken over Kaupthing edge.......
Anyhow. You shoud of received communication from ING and letters etc.
Like the other posts, give them a ring and have a chat to them. Cant beleive you have not received anything.
Good luck:rotfl:0 -
Is any one else getting the run around from ING? I still don't have a pin code to log in to my account, it's been more than 2 weeks now. I rang last Thursday and was told it must have been 'lost on the post' and they would send another first class, 5 days later nothing, so I ring again and all they can say is
'We can issue you a new pin in the post first class'
Really helpful, is there any other way of accessing my savings?
'No'
Can't I write to you and withdraw money?
'No'
So basically I can't do anything except wait and hope they do eventually send me a pin code, what helpful service. When I get it I'm just going to close my account now.
I received my pin today, 8 days (6 working days)0 -
I have exactly the same issue. The first one got lost in the post, the second one seems to have met the same fate (been 8 working days now). I think it more likely that, for whatever reason, they aren't sending out a PIN seeing as I've had several other letters from them in the time since.
Asking them to send you another PIN blocks the last one they sent out should it ever arrive so I'm always cautious asking them to send another one. But what else can you do?
edit: I recieved my PIN today (9 working days). The whinge was good catharsis either way.0 -
I think that if you have your customer number then they can issue a pin over the phone - a special secure call? - not entirely sure because I had the opposite problem - I had my pin but not my customer number and they could do nothing over the phone. It's sorted now though.0

The kaupthing edge website has said for the past 4 or 5 months that ING would be taking over savings etc.
Ok I was being a little tongue in cheek, but offered some advice. I also had money in Kaupthing edge and ICESAVE and was very worried at the end of 2008. So can appreciate the initial persons anxieties about the initial question.
If people have not received any paperwork, that is out of order and needs sorting I agree
If you dont want to ring there is an address you can write to which is free -
