Does TomTom's USA Map Cover Montreal?

I wonder whether anybody here knows how far north across the US/Canadian border TomTom's USA map covers? I will be driving from Montreal to Vermont and although I've done it many times without a GPS unit, I'd be interested to know whether my USA map will cover me in/near Montreal.

Well there is one way to find out. Put the mapcard into the gps and type in the address or area in Montreal and see if it comes up at all....
My mapcard for my Garmin Nuvi gps has a Canada map but have no reasont o use it because I'm never going there hehe.
Also, have you done a google search?

Thank you for your suggestions: obviously, I initially tried a Google search and checked through various TomTom forums before posting here - somebody else had asked the same question, but had received no definitive reply.
When attempting to navigate to or add an address as a favourite on the TomTom, it asks you for a US state so pre-entering a Canadian address doesn't seem to be an option, either.
Hence, my original question is really directed at somebody with first-hand experience of navigating the area - or someone with detailed knowledge of TomTom mapping.0 -
Well, that should answer your question then. If you can't then most likely it won't work.
Just checked my GPS US map and actually only works for US...if it worked for CAN. then it would have surely let me type in the city.

My question remains, since GPS maps do cover a certain amount of border land - they don't simply cut off immediately at borders.
The inability to enter a Canadian address simply means they are not in the unit/map's database and not that there is no map/road data.
I simply asked whether anybody knows how far this 'unofficial coverage' extends - and thus far nobody does.0 -

Yes, ive got the TomTom Go 920t and it has all of Canada on. The Map is North America and Guam.
Looking on the old Tom Tom Go 500 which has USA it goes as far as Quebec in that region. Which includes Montreal.0
