Goofbay sniper question

Out of the last 5 times I have sniped with Goofbay, twice I have lost because it says -

"You Lost
- Listing Ended before sniper got there."

What does this mean?
I had the sniper set to 5 secs before the end, should I try changing it to 6 secs to give it more of a chance?

I use Goofbay alot and I've never had this happen - I set at 4 secs. The wording suggests that the listing was ended early but you're saying it ran it's course. Would your snipes have won?

I'd like to resurrect this one as I've had this happen to me TWICE in a week lately.

Has anyone else suffered from Goofbay failure recently in this way?

I've used Goofbay sniper twice and twice it's failed despite my snipe being higher than the confirmed winning bid. I won't be using it again. I've used JustSnipe for years and it has never, ever once let me down if my snipe was high enough.

What's the situation with Justsnipe? Free membership? Easy to use?
  • I always set the Goofbay sniper at 3secs. It's only failed once (with a high enough bid) due to an error in communication between the two sites. (Something like that anyway- it was a while ago and I can't remember the exact wording.)

I lost out on two items with Goofbay recently - both times it said "eBay page not responding". I don't think I will use them anymore either.
