vanquis visa card

i know a lot of people dislike the vanquis visa card but to someone like myself who has had awful credit problems in the past,all of my own doing, it has given me a last chance.also to any one interested they have just changed a couple of things on the card.. no annual fee now at all,and minimum credit limit of 250.00 not 150.00. i started off with a limit of 250.00 and pay off in full each month.my limit went up to 500.00 after 3 months and 1000.00 after 6 months.thank you vanquis.................

Captal One did the same for me years ago got to be grateful to them, when I was in deep do do's they were a great help........

As long as you are disciplined and pay off the full amount each month,it is a road to improve your rating,never ever give them any interest

Hopefully they will up my limited to £500 as I'm coming up to my third month with Vanquis, which I pay off fully every month.

i got my card in june 2005 and 1st statement was 20th july and my limit was raised on 20th oct and 20th jan. the 3 months was from 1st statement and not when first got the card.

I got my card in November, first statement December, so I should really have the limited rased when I get my statement in March.

Hi,

I applied for the Vanquis card nearly a week ago. They approved on the phone. When do I get this card? Do they send an agreement first???

i applied on the phone and got accepted .i then had to sent id as well and then wait for a credit agreement in total it took 40 days to get my card and another 7 days to get the pin.

vanquis, now no annual fee to new customers but you have to pay fees for over credit limit and late payments.

customers that had to pay 19.00, this has gone up to 25.00 but you do not have any overlimit or late payment charges.
