7 year old house - not sure about survey

The surveyor would take a moisture measurement, point out that they had done so and if it exceeded recommended levels tell you to get a damp firm in to examine it.
As to the thoroughness of the survey it was pointed out to me that the surveyor does not have permission to move the furniture etc in the house no matter what type of survey is done.
I have just found the "surveys explained" & T&C document sent to me by our surveyor - I have phoned & have permission to send you since it is read only if you PM me with an email address.Still wish I could buy a TARDIS instead of a house!0
