So you heard it here first. Recession over. Everywhere bloody heaving. Houses will now start selling, FTSE will rise 30% by the end of the year and alcohol sales will treble (at least in Manchester). Green shoots people, green shoots.

Or, people are just living it up a few more times, before putting their head between their legs and kissing their @ss goodbye.:D

I will be living it up on Thursday night....

Ok, so I will probably have one drink and stop as I have the school run on Friday morning but I will be out on the town!

    He's paying mind.......
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

Ahh, so you might not be single anymore, good luck. By the way if you're not single your username is against the trades description act, you'll have to get yourself a sock puppet, may I suggest 'NotSingleSue', it's not very subtle though, people may guess who you are.:D

That was the first thing that came into my head too.

None of this makes sense. He's either lying about his age and he actually meant to write 82 or there is something wrong with him. No 28 year old wants to sit down in a pub..... on a Saturday night.... and they certainly don't drink bitter! I'm surprised he didn't mention his pipe or slippers in his rant...

    Rob

Tut tut, how short-sighted of you? Cleaver's a trannie wearing fabulous footwear, and as a lady who enjoys wearing beautiful (but uncomfortable) heels, I understand that having a bit of a sit down is very important. And I'm only 23.

I go out most weekends, either to a pub, cinema or a meal and it's always heaving -you really wouldn't think that this country is in recession.

The Brighton races was packed last night, couldn't even get to the bar.

I went to comet last weekend to buy a new laptop - the place was packed with people buying TVs, computers etc.

So do I, going to a rather contempory restaurant and I am already worrying about feeling like a fish out of water...I tend to go for posh and refined or spit and sawdust and nothing in between!

Dan - I go out maybe once or twice a year although I do on occasions go to the local foodie pub with my children for a cheapo meal during the day.
