Weekly Spend Challenge W/C 22nd Feb

Morning all!
PP - I'm aiming to do something awesome for his birthday - pay for him to go parachute jumping/get a day in an Aston Martin etc. I want to do something amazing! His birthday isn't till April and I'm aiming on having £300 by then.
I am also having a spend day, as I am going for lunch with a friend. We're only going to my work canteen though, so it will be less than a fiver :rotfl:
I am going to be going for £50 as my budget for next week, and will start it tomorrow. I am going to be including all groceries/entertainment in this amount as well, so I am going to be quite harsh with myself. It's also March on Sunday and I am going for 15 NSDs in March (Although I don't count groceries in the NSD challenge) which will require a lot of self-control
Happy Budgeteering :j0 -
Yesterday was meant to be a NSD but ordered drink at meeting and then found we had to pay for them, so that was another £3 damn. Going to be good today, brought some juice but that came out of grocery budget so so far nothing today.MAY NSD's

Hello everyone,
Thanks so much to pointypenguin for doing this weekly challenge :A , although I do NSD's I too feel much less inclined to spend on unecessary stuff when i know I have to confess & declare here .
I've done my weekly shopping & added the £20 in that I didnt spend last week so got a few extra storecupboard bits to keep me away from shops during the week.
Have a great week end everyone & pointypenguin I'm going to pledge £5 for next week ( & try not to spend it  )
thank you
lula

Where do you buy cheap (cheep?) creme eggs from????
er... not that I can eat them cos of the 100 day challenge... :A
Tixy - off the cheeselets... Landlord is currently handing out Curly-Wurlys (which is good cos I then don't buy chocolate...) and Bombay Mix. Need to flirt with the locals to keep me in beer and/or lemonade for the evening!
Next week could be expensive - how expensive depends on if I get paid tonight... Got a night out with OH's family tomorrow, and a wedding on Friday. Need drinking money for tomorrow (hic!) but driving on Friday, so OH can pay for me. (He does get his bonus in his wage this week...)Natwest CC - [STRIKE]£2545[/STRIKE] now £0 :j
Overdraft - £2668 - to be cleared by February 2010
Wedding - 11 September 2010

For me I spent £7 on lunch and £2 on dressdown day at work which gives me a total of £22.06 for the week so I made green woohoo. Also I am very proud I resisted the urge to get a takeaway tonight and just ate what was in the house.
F_F I finally think my conscience if starting to speak up as I had a bit of a mental battle on whether or not to get a takeaway and I managed to resist as I knew I would end up red on here and the money could be put to much better use.Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30
