  • I have updated the first post with new pledges for this week. Good luck everyone.:j

F_F what did you see at the cinema?

Raychee good luck with the purple I am cheering for you.

Miss_Marple I hope you enjoy your treat on Friday it sounds like you have worked hard to deserve it.

sadsadjenjen I am feeling much better thanks. How are you feeling? I hope you have recovered.

chrissie57 good luck for this week I found it takes a few gos before I got the hang of this challenge.

I have had a few spends today but as they were nephew related I am not counting them out of my weekly budget. I need to go and get something sorted for lunch tomorrow to start off on the right foot or else this week will be a downward spiral.
    Weekly Spend Challenge: £0/£30

  • no spending fo rme today which given i am still in my pj's from last night is no surprise lol
  • Hey everyone! Good Luck with your pledges!

    I managed to make my last week a NSW! I'm so proud! ^^;

This week, I think I won't be able to manage it so easily. I haven't spent any money today, which is a start, but tomorrow's payday... and I will probably buy in some groceries.

£8.50 for bus ticket, and £10 for school dinners and I might limit myself to £11.50 to make it an even £30.

Confessions of a Shopaholic and it was blooming awful :rotfl: I really enjoyed Devil Wears Prada, which was in the same shallow vein, but this was horrendous. You didn't care about any of the characters, and the plot was dismal.

Avoid, even if you have a cinema pass like me :rotfl: Off to see Vicky Christina Barcelona on Tuesday though...hoping that will be better!

  • Well done Olleigami :j

Welcome TismE I have added you to the list for this week in the first post.

F_F I saw Vicky Cristina Barcelona last week and I thought it was quite good. There is a voice-over guy that is quite irritating but other than that gives you some things to think about and it is very summery. It was sad leaving the cinema to find I was in rainy Glasgow after spending a couple of hours in sunny Barcelona!

23p spent today so far (Imagine ruining a NSD for that!!) on lunch - £2.99 Boots Meal Deal but had £2.76 on an old gift card.

I bought Meal Deals all last week on my course (Should get the money back) so I now have bought enough to get a free one before the end of the month. Hurrah!
  • well i am £6.00 into my week, although its really only £3.32 spent lol, due to other challenges i have signed up to, £2 is for my £2 coin pot and the 68p goes into my silver/shrapnel pots when i empty my purse every day, if this incurs me having no money left or going over then i think i am going to have to rethink some of my saving pots lol

    NSD for me! :T

Had to drop something in at the doctor's and post a letter this morning - both next to the shop. Managed to avoid going in, by not taking any money with me! :)
