Kaupthing/ING

I now can log on and see my former Kaupthing acc as an ING acc - but since I already have an ING account I now have 2 separate ING customer numbers, Is there any way to migrate the Kaupthing acc across to my old ING customer no so both sets of accounts appear together?

You can certainly move the money across. I did that. Presumably you can then just phone up and close the unwanted one.

Thanks - did you have to move your money into your nominated account and then back to ING - or can you go direct from old Kaupthing account to existing ING account?

Direct. Just went to "move money" and selected "from" and "to" accounts. Instant transfer.

I did have a problem shortly after transfer where none of my accounts were listed in the "from" and "to" dropdown lists within "move money". I had to phone them up to get this sorted.
