dishwasher connection problem sms 4012

Hello guys can any body help???
We've had a really bad weekend with various things but this has now baffled us...
When our candy dishwasher was plumbed in we had to have an extended blue hose (water feed) which was put behind the boards of the kitchen...thats all been fine UNTILL the candy decided to stop working.

So kindly we where given an older bosch sms 4012 with what appears to be an perminantly? attached water hose so this means we are left with two female parts of the hose.

Does anyone know either A) how to get the hose off the dishwasher?
B) How to connect the two female parts together?

Please please answer :) thanks

I'm sorry but I am unable to picture what you mean.
I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.

You have one blue pipe connected to the machine and another blue pipe connected to the mains I take it?

I have yet to see a machine that you cannot change a hose on. Are you sure there is not a removable panel somewhere near to where the pipe disappears to.

And as for the other pipe, how did you stop the water supply?

  • Pop into B&Q.

What you need is a 1 inch twin male connector.

The last one I got there was black plastic,in a blister pack and cost about £1.00.
They are made specifically for this job.

Check inside each screw connector on the hoses. If in doubt about the condition of the rubber washers buy a couple at the same time for about 20p.

When connecting only handtighten.Do not use pliers to overtighten else washers may scrunch up or plastic connectors split.

The bosch hose connects with a spring clip inside the casing and not to the exterior of the machine so your description is accurate.
