Corkage Q
Comments
-
Hi
Our previous venue was charging £9 per bottle and they were not supplying glasses, storing it, opening it or pouring it for us!! I think corkage is a valid charge if they provide glasses, pour it etc but think a more reasonable price is around the £5 mark.
Our venue put all the prices up with 5 weeks to go so have found a new venue that doesn't charge any corkage so very lucky.
Definitely speak to the venue about your concerns and say alternative local hotels are doing it for cheaper - worth a go even if they knock a couple of pounds off it will save you money.
Good luck x0 -
