Hello all !
I have recently started a dmp with payplan and got some tremendous help through this site on the debt free wannabe forum. Now I have my dmp sorted and in progress many posters who have helped have adv me to claim back my bank charges. I have contacted First Direct (a/c no longer in use) and have been sent a list of all charges from the last six years totalling £2298.
I am unsure of what to do next although I do know that I will need to claim finacail hardship- this is very much the case. I was under the impression that banks were no longer paying out, but I have been led to belive that if I can prove hardship (again unsure how I would do this ) then there may be a chance of getting refunded which would help my quality of life immediatly.
Any advice of what type of letter I should write would be greatly appreciated- or am I wasting my time? Thanks you all in advance. Jim.
