Stop it starting a boot and that should stop it.0

"Disable Spybot's TeaTimer. This is a two step process.
First:
- Right click Spybot in the System Tray (looks like a calendar with a padlock symbol)
- Choose Exit Spybot S&D Resident
Second:
- Open Spybot S&D
- Click Mode, check Advanced Mode
- Go To Left Panel, Click Tools, then also in left panel, click Resident
- If your firewall raises a question, say OK
- Uncheck the box labeled Resident Tea-Timer and OK any prompts.
- Use File, Exit to terminate Spybot
- Reboot your machine for the changes to take effect.

While TeaTimer can obviously be disabled, it's not a good idea to stop it, as it prevents unwanted files from being installed, no matter how, on your system. It monitors the processes called/initiated perpetually. If known malicious processes want to start, TeaTimer immediately terminates them, giving you three options how to deal with this process in the future:
* be informed when the process tries to start again
* automatically kill the process
* generally allow the process to run
If something tries to change critical registry keys, TeaTimer will detect it. TeaTimer can protect you against such changes by giving you an option: You can either Allow or Deny the change.
If you use Spybot-S&D's realtime protection against spyware, nasties will not be allowed to enter your system. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0 -

Ive never had to reboot for it to work. It just goes away as soon as its unticked
Anyways ~ make sure you use Spybots IMMUNISE feature (Stops nasties at the source):idea:0 -
I prefer threatfire and winpatrol over teatimer.0

They basically do the same thing but dont hog as much resources will doing it. Threatfire is also quite good with rootkits and winpatrol is good with startup programs among others.
Its down to personal preference at the end of the day so its still my opinion, you could try google for more opinions.0
