HELP! Cheap Caribbean holiday

Hi,
I've found myself in the position of being given an invite to a wedding in the Caribbean that I cannot refuse (by virtue of my partner being the bridesmaid). It's a rather expensive affair to get to as it's in a 5* all-inclusive resort in the Caribbean. I wonder if any of you guys fancy a price-beating challenge?...here goes:
Beaches Hotel
Turks & Caicos islands
http://www.beaches.com/main/tc/tc-home.cfm
13-20 April 2005
Depart from Edinburgh
I currently have a price of £680 each for the flights and £670 each for 7 nights in the hotel (1 double room for 2 people).
Can anyone knock a substantial amount off these prices?
To make it a wee bit easier, we can be a wee bit flexible on the departure date (10-14 April) - however, as the wedding is on 16 April and we need to arrive a couple of days before hand, this is all the flexibility we have.
Let's see who can come up with the best prices!
cheers,
Reestit Mutton.

Not the done thing to reply to your own post but I have an update worth mentioning...
Virgin Holidays currently offer £105 off each room when 6 or more nights are booked (this discount increases if 12 or more nights are booked). They also offer 10% off the full-fare price when you book online. This brings the total cost of the holiday down to £1238 per person.
However, this includes an overnight stay in Miami on the way out there (thus, 1 less night in the all-inclusive Beaches Hotel).
If anyone can trump this, I'd be *very* interested to hear your price.
Also...BTW...if the dates were adjusted to 10-17 April 2005 (Sun-Sun) a direct flight is available with British Airways. As this would be the more convenient option, any decent prices using this flight would be worth hearing about. My best price for this flight is currently £635.70 each (for the flight only, that is) direct from BA - As I am a BA shareholder, this includes a 10% discount on the full fare quoted on their web site.
cheers,

I agree with Ally that this has a better chance in Travel, so i've moved it. Hope this helps Reestit Mutton0 -
Thanks Mod - If I'd bothered to look a bot harder myself I guess I would have spotted this board before posting. However, rest assured I've done a decent amount of homework with the prices I've already found before asking here
Here's hoping this is one deal that can be beaten!

try playing companies of against each other
call up another cmpany give them the full details of the holiday then when they give you a price
Ask them if they can beat the price quoted by sandles say you are very serious and will buy it
Then call another company and repeat the process dont push it because otherwise they wont beleive you0 -
seeing as there are obviously a few of you going to the wedding do a lot of the brochures not offer discounts of 1 free in groups of 10, also how about contacting hotel direct aswell with details of what is happening and how many of youpotentially are going they may be prepared to offer you a discounted rate?0

I wonder if another possibility might be to find out if this holiday exists in any particular brochure and, if it does, hunt down a discount voucher valid on that brochure for the period of travel - always plenty available on ebay for pennies.
Can anyone tell me which, if any, brochure this holiday (Beaches Hotel, Turks & Caicos) features in?

for stuff through Tropical Places we've always used a Carribbean Specialist travel agent called Travel4less/Windham Travel here in Bournemouth, could try calling them on 01202 393645, see if they can start looking for you. They've often beaten any other prices we've found for Mexico/Dominican Rep0

Thanks guys - I've already priced it up at Virgin - at £1240 per person - and this is currently my cheapest option but I'll certainly give Windham (sp?) Travel a go as I think I've come across them before.
It's a darn good job that we've got a fair few months ahead of us at this stage - i wouldn't want to be doing something like this at the last minute!!!
