Tiscali email downtime Feb 20th 2009

As some of you may be aware Tiscali email was down for about 7 hours yesterday (Feb 20th). Reappeared in the evening but certainly have suspicions that alot of e mails not got through to me. Tiscali site says everything working fine but spoke to help desk (that is a misnoma if ever there was) and believes people are trying to retrieve all interim emails but do not know when. Anyone else feel they have lost lots of emails and any idea of the lieklihood of them reappearing??? Tiscali forum got no news on situation and I am unable to post there as I have not received the email authorising me access!!! All you techies out there please help this very untechie MSEer Thanks

This doesn't help you this time, but I left Tiscali because of their general uselessness, and because when they were down for most of a day I definitely lost all emails, some of which were important, and which never re-surfaced.
