Does anyone know if it will make a substantial difference to watch TV online on a PC (21") or laptop rather than use a 32" TV? There might be someone out there who has made a comparison.
Sounds a bit desperate but am just interested to know how I might reduce leccy bill a bit.

Laptops cheapest option - use a fraction of the electricity used by a TV set.0

The laptop will be cheaper.
How much cheaper depends on your TV and your Laptop.
Laptops can use anything between 25 to 50watts + router power(around 10 watts)
A 32" TV normally between 100 and 150 watts.
So very roughly you might save a penny an hour.
Use the TV!!!!!!0 -
If you use the laptop you have wasted all the money you paid for the TV !0
