When should i plant these seeds?
Options
Hello,
I have a tiny garden but was wondering if you could tell me when i should plant my sunflower and forget me not seeds. My Grandma gave them to my children and they really want to plant them now:rolleyes: but i am fairly sure it is to early isnt it. Also do you just scatter the forget me not seeds on the ground? oh and should they both be planted indoors then move outside?
Sorry for all the questions...u can tell am a novice when it comes to things like this he he:rotfl:

You don't state where you are in the UK but you can plant sunflower seeds any time from middle of March until the beginning of July if you are in the South. If you are in colder climates then sow them at the end of March to the end of May.
Personally I would spread out them out so they all don't bloom at the same time. So I would plant some all through each month. The biggest ones tend to be the ones planted in April-beginning of May.
Forget me nots are biennials so you plant them in June/July for them to flower the next yearI'm not cynical I'm realistic

Yep.
I've edited my message.
It makes a different because you will get colder nights earlier. Sunflowers are quite hardy but not that hardy.I'm not cynical I'm realistic

It's a pity you live so far away from me Steph, you could have had some of my mass-load of forget-me-nots that spring up every year :rotfl:0
