Public transport in Amsterdam?

Whilst at work last night, i saw that we could fly to Amsterdam for about half the price instead of driving :rolleyes: so am trying to find out a bit about public transport. We are going to be staying at Duinrell, so my question is really, can we get there from the airport? And also get from Duinrell to Amsterdam city centre? Or do you think it would be better and easier to hire a car? But to add to problems i dont own a credit card, so does anyone know of a company that will except a debit card?? Many thanks x

Public transport in Holland is excellent and cheap. In Amsterdam use the trams; if you wish to go further afield use the trains.
Everyone speaks good English so it is really easy to get round.

PS: DON'T use your debit card abroad, except in an ATM !!

I really do not think that you want to drive in Amsterdam, other parts of Holland may be OK though.

put in your details, eg Amsterdam Airport dest (attraction) Duinrell, it will give you the route, train times and bus times, and in reverse of course.
