Family of five want to go away for weekend of 24th Feb. Ideas Please!!

We were hoping to go to centre parcs for the last weekend of halfterm, but it was going to cost over £400!!!

I rang holiday inn today and they are doing a deal which would include b&B for two nights plus dinner on first night for £139.

The problem is that only one holiday inn hotel will take 5 to a room (Northampton)

Can anyone suggest a cheapish hotel/accom which will take 5 and that is near some attraction.

I'm really stumped on this one and kids desperate to go away. They are aged 11, 8 & 2.

If you stayed at Northampton it's not that far to Woburn Abbey/Safari park and Milton Keynes (Xscape).Also I'm sure that W/end at Woburn there is a big craft fair, which means you pay to go into the craft fair and it's free entrance to the safari park - I'm sure it only costs us about £20 to go in(you'd better check the dates though).

Im sure Wicksteed Park is only about 12-15 miles away as well in Kettering.

Its saying rides are not open on 24th-25th Feb(apparently park is open all year round but rides are seasonal)
