Bicarbonate of Soda

Hi There,

Is it true that I can add Bicarbonate of Soda to my cat litter tray without causing any harm to my cat? I understand it works as a deodoriser?

YES!!!! Add about 8oz to your litter tray to help absorb odours.
  • Thats brilliant, thanks for getting back to me.

What else can I use Bicarbonate of Soda for then?

I always clean my greasy cooker with a mixture of vinegar and bicarb, brings it up a treat!!!!
  • I read a thread here the other day about using it to whiten your teeth! So I bought some during my major shop on Saturday, haven't tried it yet!

You can even buy a toothpaste with Bicarbonate of Soda as an ingredient!
  • Yeah, but I think it's cheaper and from what other people said, it gets better results!

Yes but its very abrasive, used on a regular basis it is liable to scrub the enamel off your teeth.
