Loan Passed To Collections, Can I Still Reclaim Ppi

Options
Hi
Having Defaulted On A Hbos Unsecured Loan, I Note The Ppi Was Added As A Lump Sum, Meaning The Total Amount Passed On To The Agency Had The Full Ppi Loaded Onto It, Inflating The Amount Outstanding By Around 4k.
Even Having Defaulted (now In A Payment Arangement And Uptodate With The Agreed Monthly Amounts), Can A Claim Still Be Put In For The Ppi, As I Dont See Why I Should Have To Pay For The Ppi When I Certainly Wont Be Able To Claim For It?

  • Yes you can. I would have a look at the reclaim PPI board which should point you on the right path.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009

Yes you can still out in for a reclaim on the PPI here if you feel you were mis sold this in any way, check this link out here for further information:
    http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/ppi-loan-insurance

This is a useful link also with a reclaim template letter, but try to use your own words if you can with obviously adding your own reasons, they have 8 weeks to respond in full.

If you let us know how you get on we can take it from there, in case another letter is required if not successful first time round.

Post by recorded delivery and hopefully you this will be resolved first time round, if not there are other steps we can take here, so if you can let us know we shall take it from there.

    Good luck.;)
