Cheap 4 foot double bed needed!

Hi!

I am about to move house (well, I'm moving out of my own flat and into a friends house due to income cuts and stuff) and the room I have, I think I'm going to need to get a 4 foot double bed in order to get everything else to fit in!

Anyone got any better ideas or able to point me in the right direction?

I apologize in advance as I'm going to have a heck of a lot of questions over the coming weeks!

this chap does 4ft beds and mattresses. my SIL bought one last month.
special order though. i think it took 2 weeks.

Do you live anywhere near an ikea? They have double beds from about £50 and mattresses for about the same. Don't expect to get a good nights sleep or not have back problems on the really cheap beds/mattresses though. They have little or no support for your back.
