    This is really messy isn't it? Where will the court serve the court papers on the defendant if you hold no address.

    My advice - don't throw any more money down the drain - you have been had - accept it and move on.

    Doesn't ebay/paypal offer buyer protection for buying stuff off ebay these days?

    Wouldn't his address be somewhere on your ebay history by viewing the transaction or something? Or failing that on old emails from ebay stating you had won the item and needed to pay the seller??

    Paypal does offer some protection, as scammers use it all the time. I would get in touch with Paypal and see what they have to say on the matter
