Returning a Dreams Mattress

We recently purchased a mattress from Dreams and had it delivered, but we find it is too hard (firm). I was wondering if anyone has had experience of how Dreams handle returns and if our current one can be replaced for a softer one.

Did you buy it online or from a store. Have you got any paperwork from when you purchased it, any terms and conditions of guarantee, etc?

From their website it seems they do have a comfort guarantee but only on certain items so you'd need to check if your situation is covered.

Guarantees:

All Goods are guaranteed against faulty materials and workmanship for a minimum period of twelve months from the date of delivery.

The unique Dreams Comfort Guarantee is only available on certain Goods purchased direct from one of Dreams Plc's 180 plus nationwide Branches. It does not apply to any Goods purchased online.

I've just checked the terms & conditions on the back of my order receipt and my mattress does qualify for a comfort guarantee but I would need to pay a delivery charge to change the mattress.

Would anyone know if Dreams would have to take the mattress away to inspect it in order to get an exchange?
