Saisburys: car park litter.

I live near to the former Safeway store in Darlington, now Sainsburys, the supermarket has a lot of bushes and greenery, and I know that it has not been litter picked for four years at least!
Dropped litter tends to blow away, but it makes me wonder how management do not see this mess every day.
I complained once, waste of time!

We have same problem. The one just down our street was an ex Safeway store.
I have to give them some credit though after 8 months of complaining about dangerous railings on there property they removed them last week, looks unsightly but at least no one will be hurting themselves. There wasn't doing any useful purpose but I wish they just replaced them than take them away.
They did cut some shrubbery, when I say cut, I mean in the broadest sense of the word, like our council do, they chop the hell out of them with a machine looks nasty too.0 -
Is all the litter on the supermarket side of the greenery or on a roadside? Possibly complain to the council and see what they say! They might be able to do something! After all isnt litter a form of pollution?!Weight Loss - 102lb0

Id write a letter to Sainsburys and the council and Highways agency.
If an opened and used bag of crisps blows into the direction of an oncoming vehicle, can you imagine the chaos it would cause if I was on my way to Tesco, where most items are cheaper and come with a better Loyalty rewards scheme?0
