I found a leeds liquid gold account book, it has next to nothing in but might as well get it but don't know who owns them now.

Leeds Permanent Building Society merged with the Halifax Building Society, which demutualised to become Halifax plc, which then became part of HBOS and Lloyds Banking Group.

There is a Leeds Building Society still in existence. It was formerly known as Leeds & Holbeck Building Society.
