    Hey Sarah,

turning off the internet will only "mess it up" if he's playing people online. It won't damage the console though. The easiest way to stop him from playing it (if that's what you want to do) is to take the controllers away.

I was diagnosed with Asperger's a few years ago, and I'm sure my parents will tell you it was hard when I was growing up sometimes.

I can confirm what marty is saying, you cant damage the console just by turning the internet off, if you take the controllers then he cant play on it,
  • thankyou both for the imformation,i do take controllers away but he has sometime borrowed from friends.
but im sure he will find a way around he normanly dose.

  • I was going to suggest taking the power cable but he could borrow one of those too, so why dont you take the console out of his room when he goes to bed? It's just two cables you have to unplug.
