                    Hi all,
I've been searcing every site I can think of for a cheap and central Dublin hotel in July but haven't found anything near my price range!
I know its optimistic but I'm looking for a room for 2 people for 2 nights Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th July and ideally wanted to pay about £50 per room per night.
Is this completely unrealistic or does anyone know of any hidden gems out there?

            In a word...Isaccs!
http://www.isaacs.ie/
They have a decent hotel and hostels too within their group.
I've booked their Dublin hotel a few times for business clients and never had a single complaint and believe me, my clients aren't shy of complaining if they don't like a hotel.0 -

search here, then go to tripadvisor and do reviews.
but your not going to get much in dublin for £50 a night especially with one being a saturday night.
i personally recommed the harding hotel0 -
Have you used Priceline ever? When I use Priceline, etc...I give this place a check too..

            Try https://www.d4hotels.ie
For £50 p night you probably won't get a hotel especially a weekend night & city centre. You might get a hostel. Having said that keep searching.
Good luck

Hi i have just been and we stayed at the maldrom hotel, walking distance from o'connell street and a really nice hotel.
We paid 82.50 for 2 people for 2 nights so just over £20 per person per night. I booked it after looking around for the best price on expedia as it offered the best deal.
Hope that helps.0 -
Thanks everyone, I checked the Maldron but they're quoting over £120 a night for that weekend - Isaccs seems ok but I'm not too keen on the shared bathrooms and all d4 hotels are booked up that weekend!
I'm realising I was being unrealistic looking for somewhere that cheap - does anyone have any ideas for anywhere a bit more expensive and decent, up to about £80 a night?
Thanks again!0 -
For that money you can get the Charleville Lodge http://www.charlevillelodge.ie/0

            ^^^^^
Yeah The Charleville lodge is fairly close to the city centre ~15-20 mins walk but on a bus route. So would be a good choice.
However it's very near to Croke Park which is the main grounds for Gaelic football. I'd recommend booking as soon as you can as the hotel is very popular amongst Gaa fans. And July is high season for the Gaa.:hello:0 -
Maldroms on expedia fore those dates is coming up £86 for the two nights, Bewleys at £104, and Jacobs Inn at £1060
 -
Thanks - had a look at Charleville and it could definately be a contentder, tho the Maldron and Bewleys seem a bit too far out of town!
How about Best Western Academy Plaza or Jury's Croke?
Thanks again - you're all being a great help!0
