I have had my large VAT and am back. Thanks for the help. SA this credit report thingy. It says a free thirty day trial. Can you get the details you want by not paying? Otherwise I will have to use the dreaded cc. Would £2 be an acceptable amount to add on, remembering I have already taken £1000 out of the OD account.
I know that sounds rather silly. hicBetter to be poor than a slave to wealth

Silly.... never :rotfl:
Of course you can add £ 2 on to your c/c - the OR will definitely turn a blind eye to that.
Seriously, it is actually on Martins moneysaving tip page - it involves signing up and giving your card details and then cancelling a month later if I remeber rightly.
I did start to do it and then lost the will to live with all the form filling and so I went and got a £2 postal order, sent it off, and got the report back 3 days later. A small price to pay.
You however may be more determined.... horses for courses and all that..

Hi SA thanks for that. I will do it in the morning. I am assuming I can print off the report? Why don't these people have phone numbers on the contact page? Emai lis so impersonal. No wonder a vast majority don't know how to write a letter in hand writing. I have had a few drinks and feel rather intoxicated, the run up has started and the pressure is on. I will go to sleep and start again in the morning." Hurry hurry lot's to do" Adieus allBetter to be poor than a slave to wealth

Your forms cannot be processed without the dates so you may as well just guess and put something on there before you go to court. That is something I somehow forgot and the clerk said to just guess.headoutofsand wrote: »
I don't think I will open an account ever again so the OH is going to deal with money. So they can send the bill and the OH can send a cheque.
As for dates of loans, can the OR not get the info? I very much doubt that I can find them . I have had 3 accountants since 2001 the first was a bookeeper ( cheap and a nice bloke) the second chartered 2007 charged me £850 ( not nice and a rip off ) the third chartered (current) £250 told me the £850 one was a disgrace to the profession

Morning hoos,
I hope when you read this you are not too hung over!
I didn't actually request mine online because they wouldn't accept my credit card!!!
I just filled the form in online, printed it off and posted it with a PO for two quid.
Good luck

Hi SA and anyone else . I have got the report and it just tells me about the cc's not the loans. I suppose it may come in useful for dates, so for anyone else who wants to use Experian then it is very basic, at least for me anyway.
In regards to my hangover I have just looked at the forms again and I will do them by hand as I have no ink and don't trust the printer or the computer to print them. Two pain killers, porridge and tea seem to be working.Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

Morning HOS.....sorry to hear about the dodgy head (I know the feeling.....wayyyyyy to much malt whiskey last night with dad...will we ever learn???)
Hmm the online credit files can be a bit basic the paper ones you can request for £2 show a bit more but not much...guestimates will be fine with the OR if they need a definate date they can always find that themselves.....anything your stuck on with the forms just ask!

Hi Phil. The forms online seem more of a hassle than the ones from the court, when you look at the forms online there seems to be loads of them but when they are in your hand on paper they seem less taxing. There seems to be less to answer. I'm off to my mates BR 15 years ago for £75'000 lasted 5 years ( I think that was the norm then) to get some cheap baccy, he also gets whisky and brandy (brand mames not dodgy).
Things have not changed that much as he informs me the Judge said to him " You should of done this ages ago" My mate reckons it was the best thing he ever did:beer:Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

Prob with me? the forms I received from the court were a nightmare you couldnt see half the stuff due to a dodgy photocopier....easier for me to do the online ones though for one my handwriting is a nitemare & 2nd the online was easier I have joint probs & use a voice headset to type (although took me nearly 3wks)....remember though you'll need to take 3 copies of your forms on the day at court
It may seem at the moment your all over the place...BUT to risk sounding like a parrot it was the best thing I ever did as wellWe all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -

Did you get the freebie ones hoos?
My £2 report had everything on there... loans and credit cards.
As they say, you get what you pay for......
