More shady work at the bank

I had another venture to the bank today, the usual sun glasses and hat on.
I have cancelled the DD's apart from the own bank stuff. Some payments have gone out, the own bank payments come out BR day.
Have I done the right thing and will anything be said about some creditors being paid and a few not. I must of cancelled about 12 DD's.
I have taken Sky out of the mix as I intend to pay them by cheque (OH account> who has nothing to do with my BR) later. However I have stopped their DD.
Also I am going to sort out the owed money bit on the forms, but I don't know most of the dates credit started ie bank loan, cc and phones ect. It is very complicated when one has swapped from one card to another and the business has had two or three loans since 2001. Should I just guess?
Most of the stuff is buried beneath other stuff in the shed( old accounts) The last 2 years of accounts should be on the accountants computer
I will ask questions as I go on if need to as this bit is going to be the worst bit and will take hours if not days.
One last question for now. Will I get any help at the court regarding missed info off the forms? I really don't want to have to go away and come back again

Any incorrect or missing information can be sorted.....the court clerk will go through the paperwork with you at time of bankruptcy and sort it (so no need to return)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

Hi Phil. That's good news. I have cancelled the AA DD and they want 4 weeks notice which equates to over £800, does this go in the BR? even thogh I still have the car? Their next payment is next week the BR date is the following MOnday. I suppose they will come and get it when the S*** hits the Fan.
Do you live near Liverpool?Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

i'd say stick it in the pot with the rest of the creditors & let the AA join the queue.....wouldnt worry about the car they'll collect in due course
(i'm near the albert docks in liverpool city centre....although temporary residing at parents for a little while)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
Does it matter if I miss one out by mistake?
I had to pay £1.40 to get into LIverpool but on the way out I didn't go under the Mersey . Is that how it works?
I was there for around 4 hours, most of the time in the student union bar reading subsidised papers, so I didn't see anything of Liverpool city centre or the docks.Better to be poor than a slave to wealth

Any creditors you forget to add etc you can always inform the OR & they can contact at a later date..if you miss something out as a mistake the court clerk goes through the forms before you are processed anyhow so they can easily add....
£1.40? which way did you come into the city? if you went through the tolls you must have gone under the river (wirral or birkenhead) either that or the local kids have found a new way of getting cash!We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0 -
I haven't a clue. First of all the m6 wa shut north bound so I had to take the A41 from Stafford way then the A41 was closed and we went on a 20 mile diversion only to end up back on the A41 then the A55 then the M62?
I did keep seeing Birkenhead though. It took from Lichfield 3.5 hours:eek: 120 miles after all the diverts.
and on the way back another 3 hours due to heavy M6 traffic. Never againBetter to be poor than a slave to wealth

hi headoutofsand
Cant help you on the car but looks like Phil covered that, so I was just wondering is it is sky or just your OH cheque in his name?
I canceled our sky dd and tried to cancel the actually subscription, which I had to do on the day of br, they wanted the br number as a valid reason for canceling whilst in contract. They do charge for failed dd, but its something like a couple of quid for a paper invoice with giro.
As for dates of loans, we struggled with that because we had consilidated business loans etc, so what I did on the br forms was put everything owing at the time. The older ones that had been transfered to new ones(sorry does that make sense?) I put a copy of the loan agreements/statements into a binder to give to the OR so that they could tell where it all started to go wrong. So you may need to get in that there shed.:(
As much information as you can give the OR the better but for now when doing the forms just concentrate on the current outstanding amounts.

Hi Jenni. I want to keep Sky it's uptodate and everything is on it including line rental, BB, basic tv package and free talk about £30 a month all in.
I don't think I will open an account ever again so the OH is going to deal with money. So they can send the bill and the OH can send a cheque.
As for dates of loans, can the OR not get the info? I very much doubt that I can find them . I have had 3 accountants since 2001 the first was a bookeeper ( cheap and a nice bloke) the second chartered 2007 charged me £850 ( not nice and a rip off ) the third chartered (current) £250 told me the £850 one was a disgrace to the profession
There was alot of confusion over the accounts as everyone has different methods and no one could understand each other:eek:
I bought a franchise in 2006 for £13000 this was a fatal mistake and has led to my demise I still owe them £2250 and it will give me great pleasure telling them they will not get it. At the moment I can't find the agreement, I just looked over my shoulder at the bookcases and filing cabinets and now I need a drink:beer: just thinking about it. Today I have filed all the personal cc statements, however there's not many. I have all the business records uptodate and will finalise them on Monday. I can't stand dust as I have problems with my skin and eyes, so I have to be careful, the thought of the dusty suitcases are to much bare.
Light bulb moment, perhaps I can make another sorty to the bank and ask them for the info on loan dates? Is there any other way of getting the info?
Whatabout experion or whatever they are called, would they have all the info? Do you think the OR will want the dreaded suitcases? Help back soon, off to the bar for a VATBetter to be poor than a slave to wealth

OR will be able to get details, if you can give him details of whom the money owed too. banks may charge you for copies of agreements etc. If all else fails send your OH to the shed, as I say to my husband when I want something doing, no point having a dog if I gotta bark myself. LOL
Enjoy your drink, well deserved at this time on a Friday evening.

hoos.....
For £2 you can get a copy of your credit report from Experian....
Log onto their website http://www.experian.co.uk/ and you can do it all online or send off by post. It cuts a lot of the vagueness out of it and if you like things neat and tidy, like me, it sorts all your creditors into date order.
Onwards and upwards......
