You would normally overhang your worktop between 5 to 15 mm either end depending on style and preference but I don’t think that Ikea cut worktops anyway? So you may have to order big and cut it yourself.0

Also about the wood top you could darken an Ikea top wood stain before oiling or get the top elsewhere I don’t know if there is one near you but IDS have a good range of wood tops and they will deal with the general public.0
