Hi Alfie
Wow so they have this all wrong then ???
Normally through my experience with Lloyds if that was the first response, the letter generally says you have the opportunity to write to them again, if this is the case, then write back to them and make them aware of their mistake here and that you want this investigated again, as it seems they do not have the correct information on you to start with, but if they have suggested the FOS with an enclosed leaflet you can now go that direction if you wanted to, it may also be a good idea to ring the FOS to see what they have to say here:

Please get back to let us know, thanks hun and fingers crossed.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
thanks for your reply di
there is so much wrong with my accounts with lloyds ...if i started i would be on here all nite..... brief examples
i was made redundant in 03,,, went to see my bank manager to make sure i was covered with insurance i e mortage , loan , plus some other outgoings...
the result of this meeting ,,my bank manager filled out a cc application and asked me to sign...foolishly i signed and got a cc with £5000 credit limit....
applied for a loan 6 months later for £2000 just to pay some debts got the loan...with ppi added but i was still unemployed......
4 months later got a job but needed a car back to the bank got another loan paid off the first loan and bought a car....when i applied for this loan i was unemployed but still they added ppi....
i have a cc with lloyds for about 2 years rang them up about 8 months ago to cancel the ppi ...no problem recieved a letter from lloyds today about the ppi on this cc checked my cc statements and the ppi is back on my cc i didnt ask for this to be put back on my cc....
i would like to put all this in a letter and send it to lloyds head office and ask them to sort out this mess
what do you think di..........:mad:0 -

Hi Alfie and yes you go for it, how you have explained this above you need to tell them that, and I must be honest you seem to have a good case here.
I'm sure the FOS would back you up on this one.
You need to reclaim on all of them as it seems, and they should not have applied PPI without asking you first where they have done this automatically.
Write back and tell them you want this FULLY investigated to your satisfaction, give them your full explanation.
Meanwhile have you requested a SAR?
This should help as well.;)
You go for it Alfie to me this is a good case. The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
no i have not requested a sar yet
i live in a small town with a little branch of lloyds and any time i have applied for a loan it seems to be the norm to have the form filled out for you ....just sign it
thinking about it in my 16 or 17 years as a customer of this bank i can not ever recall filling out a form
maybe this way you dont see the part about ppi and they dont have to explain it
i dont know
should i write this letter to lloyds H Q..... before i send letters from this site to various departments about ppi and cc charges..
heir h q and still send letters from this site or wait for a reply0 -

Hi hun
I think the information may help you if they will give this to you free of charge, but other than that maybe a SAR would be the next option here, they must supply everything they have on you over the last 6 years, yet with mine I requested my SAR last year in 2008 and was lucky enough to receive the info going back as 2001, of when I had taken out my lloyds credit card.
Your going the right direction with this Alfie.;)
You need to keep on at them.
Lloyds were actually given a deadline with mine today through the FOS, but the FOS emailed me to tell me they have not heard from them and are due to chase them up........so I hope they will be prompt with you.
Of course with a SAR they know they must supply this to you because its your right to this with a payment of £10 and they have 40 days to comply.
By asking for anything from them free of charge is a chance to take, you never know you may be lucky, but I was not and had to go the SAR direction.
Your doing the right thing though hun.;)The one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
thanks for your help di:T0
