pretty annoyed as at the end of survey it stated i would get a voucher is everyone else the same i think once the first 500 had done the survey when we reached the end of ours they should have said that we would not get one instead of giving us false hope.0

No I did it from here, I did make a few complaints, maybe that has someting to do with it0 -
All the vouchers have now been sent out to the first 500 people who responded to our survey. If you haven't received a voucher today I'm afraid that means that you weren't in the first 500.
So why did some of us recieve the "your vouchers will be sent out in March" message if we weren't in the 500? surely we should have been informed that we had missed out, rather than left expecting them to arrive and wasting our time contacting you when they didn't!0 -
I filled in the survey like 15 minutes after it was posted here, i'd be amused to see who recieved there vouchers, as i replied here as soon as i completed the survey itself, so i have a record of when i completed mine. It'll be interesting as to there response if people who replied after me got a voucher.miss-coordinated wrote: »So why did some of us recieve the "your vouchers will be sent out in March" message if we weren't in the 500? surely we should have been informed that we had missed out, rather than left expecting them to arrive and wasting our time contacting you when they didn't!
Yeah that was very misleading, almost false advertising.July Wins - Stargate Universe DVD Set0 -
really annoyed!
I even recommended this survey to two of my housemates who also got the "your vouchers will be sent..." message so they have wasted thier time as well
Have emailed to complain.
I doubt they even sent out 500 now- sounds like it was all just a scam to get lots of responses.
Charity or not it's still very poor conduct!
Given the option "complete this survey on behalf of so&so charity" would have been fair enough, but luring us in with false promises is downright wrong!:mad:0 -
Well im !!!!ed off.
I know i did it soon after it was posted.
Surveys like this never get done that quickly.0 -
I think a lot of people may be forgetting the fact that this wasn't the only forum that this 'offer' was posted on. As well as the MSE Forum, there were a number of others as well.
The OP who posted here may have been one of the later posters of the offer. Hence, many of us were too late. And don't forget the fact that some people will try and take more than there fair share of vouchers. So 500 vouchers could well have been split between say 300 people of even less. It's happened before on here ..................................0 -
Interestingly the survey is still working and you still get the:
"That's all the questions we need to ask you. Thanks for taking part. As a token of our appreciation, we'd like to send you a free £5 Amazon voucher - no strings attached. To get yours, please enter your email address below (strictly one per person). You'll receive your voucher in early March."
message at the end of it. Not so interestingly neither me nor my partner got a voucher from when we did the survey in Feb
I wonder if the advertising standards authority would have anything to say on the subject?0 -
Absolutely disgusting behavior from Sarah McCoy at Youthnet. She did not even have the decency to reply to my email, yet she was able to contact MSE ... twice ... to request removal of her email address from this thread so that people who had not received their vouchers were not able to find the means to contact her.
I was one of the first people to apply for this, yet people who applied hours after me have received vouchers. I can only think Sarah McCoy has withheld my voucher because she is unhappy with me giving out the email address. This is extremely indecent, immature and unprofessional, especially for someone who is supposed to be running a charity!
I would never in my life donate to or trust YouthNet UK. If they conduct their surveys in this manner I dread to think how they conduct other matters within their charity. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. It's unlikely that she found out your name from your MSE username.
I know how voucher scheme's like this work and it's likely that it's actually Amazon are paying Youth Net to send out £5 Amazon vouchers, sounds strange but it's probably true. It's likely that they couldn't trace who completed the survey when and sent out vouchers to random people.0
