Tyres for Berlingo?

We need 2 new tyres for our Berlingo van. Have been quoted £194.50 from Nat tyres inc vat, valves, fitting, balancing, tracking & weel alignment. Does this sound reasonable to you?

Cheers,

No. It sounds outrageous. What sort of tyres are they?

Assuming they are 175/65 T 14s then blackcircles has them at about £40 - £60 each fitted for decent makes (Pirelli, Bridgestone etc).

Even the most expensive Michelins are £87 each

    Wait a minute here.

I used to have a Berlingo van,and if you use it for business, and have an accident with standard car tyres on,you may get into all sorts of trouble with the insurance company.

I thought about doing the same when I had mine, but was advised to put proper commercial tyres on it,and I think I paid about £75ish a tyre for the fronts.
That's my mutt in the picture above.

any van tyres ive ever had have been cheaper than my cars tyres.
just make sure the load rating and speed rating are the same.
