Owning that many BTL's is a really precarious position to be in IMO. I hope he's factored in what he'll do when interest rates go back up and the mortgage payments are greater than the rent receipts. I reckon that's going to catch out a lot of people.

To be fair the guy did really seem to have his head screwed on and the presenter said as much. It wasn't clear just how much finance was involved. It will be on iPlayer if anyone wants to fast forward through it. :)

    Two points mewbs.

    1) You like Girls Aloud too? Maybe we are the same person.
    2) I'm interested in your pate on toast modus operandi. Do you have warm toast, put butter straight on and then pate? I find that in this case it just becomes a melted mush. Even without butter it's all a bit melty for my liking.

Glad we're having this important financial conversation. I guarantee Generali and !!!!!!? will be along in a minute. Along with dopester and amcluesent stating that the government have ruined pate and that we won't even have it post-2011.
  • Cleaver, I think your post (pizza/Girls Aloud/pate) was the most sensible thing I have ever read on this forum. I agree with every point! :T

Incidentally, nothing wrong with Girls Aloud as you are largely appreciating elements of their "act" that are produced by highly skilled industry professionals.

Now what was the point? Oh buying houses? Yes, I've noticed a few canny people quietly buying.

Broders has thanked mewbie's post too.

This could be because he liked the post, or maybe he disagrees about the pate too. If this is the case it will be two posters on here that will go right down in my estimation.

A night of pizza, Girls Aloud and pate all together is pretty much my idea of heaven.

Erm, yeah, houses. Up and down really innit? Whatchagonnado?

I agree that pate should go on cold toast, but butter on it first? Nooooooooo, that's just wrong!

    I can go either way.

In the pate / butter sense you understand.
