You mentioned you were able to boot up until windows said it wasn't shut down properly with an old format. You also mentioned that windows cant boot because of the NTLDR so you should be able to get into the BIOS by pressing either the delete or escape botton as its boioting up.0

it comes up with the acer screen that tells you to press f2 to go into setup which it won't do and then a black screen with the NTLDR message. tried pressing esc and del on starting but still nothing1st son born 11/02/05 2nd son born 09/01/08
