Live stock market trading screens??

I'm curious to find if anyone knows whether I can download or look up a website that shows live stock market screens (including companies listed in the FTSE 100 index) rather than relying on a 10 - 15 minute delay from most sites like Google/Yahoo Finance etc...

Is it possible?

Thanks.

Yes but it costs, one company does a free trial period.

Can't remember the names of people that do though.

If you want "live streaming" prices, one would assume in most cases you want to trade stocks, any decent broker should provide these, and you'll need a broker anyway.

I'm with Hoodless Brennan at the moment - they don't seem to offer this service.

I was hoping for an independent service provider specialising in providing live stock streaming.
  • £6 a month from the LSE is what I pay, but refunded if I trade
Doing my best as a contrarian investor...property, banking...let's see how it goes ;)

I doubt your choice of broker justifies the cost of live quotes, but sources include.
ADVFN - Limited timeout on free quotes I think and a suscription service for uninterupted.

eSignal - highend pricing as it is a charting platform capable of multi-market access.

IQfeed - you'd need a front end application for the data.

Sharescope - think this one is UK based.

These are all pricey, but I can't think of anything else at the moment. What are you trying to acheive?

Here's the LSE one as far as I can see.

Hadn't thought of direct from the LSE, doh!, what way does that work?

Thanks for the links tradetime. I do agree they're a bit pricey. Tried ADVFN but pretty pants.

Had a look on the LSE website, they're asking for £14.10 a month - how did you get it for £6??

You're welcome Hatone, re the LSE I saw that too, don't know as I'm not familiar with their service I use eSignal, and broker quotes, you'll have to wait for DF to shed some light to what sort of subscription he's on.

You could open an online account with TDWaterhouse. They charge "an Account Management Fee of £10+VAT per quarter - not on ISA or SIPP accounts and only on accounts that have not traded or have a cash and/or stock valuation of less than £5,000."

~£3.80 a month if you keep it inactive.

Why don't you like ADVFN? I use them, works perfectly well for me. It does depend on what kind of trading you're doing though.
    Mmmm, credit crunch. Tasty.
