Sainsbury's haven't had any of their own brand eggs for the last couple of weeks annoyingly (they're getting worse!) and only had this brand but I don't think they are cheap and this doesn't belong in this section as it's hardly a Grabbit.
Money, money, money, must be funny, in the rich man's World!
  • I think this is a grabbit as dont know how long the offer is on for.

and also cheap in my opinion as the cheapest free range ones i have been buying have been £1.29 per 1/2 dozen although asda did have a pack of 15 for £2 this weekend.
  • i also saw 6 eggs (cant remember the brand) for £1 today in Asda, think about 40p off. not too sure if its good or not as dont like eggs.

No, I don't like them either. Nasty, sneaky not-quite-round things, lurking in boxes. They're always in a gang and they're up to no good I tells ya!

Free range eggs are very dear these days, they must be feeding the chickens cavier as I cannot think why they have gone up so much recently. Definately a grabbit.
  • If you can get them, locally produced free range eggs are invariably cheaper than supermarket eggs. I pay 95p per 1/2 dozen from a local farm and other local producers tend to be around £1 per 1/2 dozen. Last time I bought eggs in the supermarket they were around £3 a dozen.
