HIP Cost

Hi All,

Does anyone know of any reputable companies that will do a HIP?

Quick internet searches bring up HIPS4U, which seem cheap. Has anyone had a good experience with them?

My Solicitor has quoteed £300 + vat, although HIPS4U is £100 cheaper.

Thanks

  • We've just used HIPS4U, and apart from the rubbish name, their service was spot on.

Cost us £159, survey was done within 3 days and whole document was completed in 10 days. All done on-line so you can check how it's getting on and then can just e-mail it to solicitors, estate agents and anyone else you can think of!

Was a bit dubious at first as they were so cheap, but very pleased.

I used them a few weeks ago for my leasehold HIP. All done with no problems. The sale is due to complete next week and the buyer had no problems with the info supplied.
  • Thanks a lot.

I think I just needed assurance, because any company name with "4U" in the title makes me feel a little tentative:eek:

I will go with them after all and save myself £100

Another who can recommend them here, had no problems so far, they seem very efficient.
