Early Discharge letter received.. is this normal?

My husband received a letter saying they are considering Early Discharge.. but they have sent an income/expenditure form to sign and return before doing so.

Is this normal?

  • yes completly normal. They are trying one final time to see if they can do a IPA or up the amount before dishcharge. good luck.
  • Absolutely, they have to see that there is no change in the SOA whcih may mean assets for your creditors.
    Obviously, if not, then they have finalised looking into your affairs and ED is on the cards.

    Get him to fill it in and send it back special delivery to ensure it arrives!

    Dalip had her ED delayed coz her forms "never got delivered"

    then it's fingers crossed for ED :)

    36 months though only if your surplus is greater than £99 and if at anytime this changes and your IPA is suspended, the months it is suspended count towards the 36

    hope that makes sense :confused::D

    it's a sliding percentage ranging from 50-70% of the surplus.

    e.g. I have a surplus of £310 and I pay 60% = £186

    If it helps then pop up his I&E on here so the experts can advise if things can be changed?

    I will do.. but the income and expenditure form they have sent doesn't give you much to put down does it?

    What I mean is.. it doesn't take everything into account!

    So could he just copy and paste the original Soa or would the OR look at how he has been running his accounts?
