HSBC Online Banking Changed?

Has anyone else with an HSBC credit card noticed that the format of the online banking card statement has changed?
It used to be the case that the statement showed each of my recent individual transactions. For the past few days, all the initial screen is showing me is a single line including Current Balance, Current Limit, and Available Credit (the difference between the first two). My Current Balance is showing as over £300 at the moment, and I know there are 5 recent transactions making up that amount, and yet it says in red 'There are no transactions for this period (ES0)'. !!!!!!!!!
If I want to see my 5 transactions, I have to click on 'View/download previous statements' and only then do I get a pdf statement containing my transactions.
I can't make up my mind if HSBC online banking has a technical problem, although my current and other accounts display just as they always did, or whether HSBC have deliberately changed the card statement. If the latter, I can't think why as it certainly isn't progress.
Anyone else noticed this strange change?
Dave.

Mine is still showing transactions since last statement0

Yep, the card statement online has changed. You can also now suppress them, i.e. only get the statements online.0

Hmmm. Well it looks like someone at HSBC made a serious programming error in setting up this change. When the same webpage tells me I have a spent balance of over £300 and also tells me I have no transactions, something sure as hell ain't right. . Clearly, creative accounting has taken a new turn since I retired from the world of finance.

ShelfStacker do you know how the statements are delivered now? I assume it's by the 'My Messages' facility. I really don't want to miss a payment! Delivered?
Basically if you log in, go into the account where it shows lastest transactions. Go to the bottom and it says this:
The earliest date you can view is 12 Oct 2008. For earlier transactions you can view your previous statements.
Just click on the previous statements bit.0 -
Ok, thanks Lokolo. I'm just a bit confused as I have a statement online dated 21st jan but not 21st feb which has been and gone. With barclaycard it shows on the first screen whether or not a payment is due (either way) and i like having that certainty as soon as I log in. Because I normally pay when I've got the money available and not necessarily wait for the statement, I've gotten confused :STrying to only spend money when I absolutely have to.Barclaycard: £4559-1500 = £3059 (Will have £900 to add to that end of September)Loan from Friend = £20000

They email you to tell you your new one is out. You can then download it as a PDF (Acrobat) file or just view transactions via the IB service.
Of course, you'll still get paper statements unless you explicitly choose otherwise. This is otherwise a nicety. And it's good - at least HSBC now display the available credit on your CC, updated realtime, something sorely lacking beforehand IMHO.0 -
Thanks ShelfStacker. I definitely don't want paper statements. Am on a mission to get rid of as much post through the door as possible. Just sent Barclaycard some feedback through their website asking if they're ever going to bring in paperless billing.
Just hoping they raise my limit now that I've behaved myself with the card for 6 months!Trying to only spend money when I absolutely have to.Barclaycard: £4559-1500 = £3059 (Will have £900 to add to that end of September)Loan from Friend = £20000 -

Call up and ask for a limit increase... worst they can do is say no.0 -
I see that they are pushing the Ultimate Reward Current Account at £12.50 per month left right and centre. The option of 'Upgrade my account to Ultimate Reward' is now the 1st line under the 'Take me to >>' drop down box.
Please be careful when selecting your options in the 'Take me to >>' drop down box as the 1st line was for 'Recent transactions' before and take extreme care not to select the wrong option.0
