I felt better once I got my head around the fact it wasn't about ME personally... I know that will be small consolation right now. I'll shut up now:o

Sally - I know it all seems like doom and gloom at the moment but one thing to remmeber is you are in a much better position with your debt now than when you started this journey in July 2006. Yes, you still have some debt but think how much worse you could be if you had £23K of debt and DH had just been made redundant.

Talk to the CAB, payplan or CCCS to see just what help they can give you.

  • Sally,
I do know how scary and sad it is-I went thru it 3 times last year.

What is it that your husband does? At least he has a few months to find another job-I am convinced he will find another.

Huge, mahoosive hugs for you all my lovely friend xxxx

Sall, my heart goes out to you....it really does. I am not sure what to say, I am sure that me telling you we got through three redundancies in 18 months - it sharpened our minds, refocussed us on the important things in life, although I am sure you already know that being a hardened DFW.

One piece of advice - have you given HSBC the money yet? If not don't! you may need that money.

As I am a glass half full kind of girl I would be tempted to think thank god you have got your debt down to such a level as you have done.

Give your man a big hug when he gets home I bet he is feeling carpy right now.....as for you I am sending you the biggest hug I have.......XXXXX
