iPod 30GB video version wanted

I want to get an iPod 30GB. After advice on where to get this cheaply. Also need charger and car kit and radio adapter for car and anything else anyone can suggest/think of.

ebuyer have the 30gig for 195.00 i dont for start think there customer service is any good, but thats a good price, also on,ine carphonewarehouse are doing them, from memory they were also inc a itunes 25.00 voucher, cant remember if that was with the 30 or 60 gig though...

the ebuyer price is very good but like i say there are so many bad reports with the customer service, i for one would never use them again, but they still seem to be popular.

Boots currently have the 30gb for £219 , however there are codes on the 'Discount codes 'n' vouchers' forum for 10% or £20 off, making it £197 or £199 with free delivery. You will also get about £8 worth of points if you have an advantage card

Can highly recommend it , got a 30gb white one for my birthday recently using the above method :rolleyes:

Anyone got a car kit etc for this? Also, do I need to purchase a power supply for it as I am readig that they do not come with one~?

Try ebay - I got a brand new one for £165

They don't come with a mains power adapter but charge by USB.

Apple have an educational discount offer on iPODs. I believe you are supposed to be a student or teacher, but not sure how hard they check if at all.

You can also have them engraved for free

Also they are offering 25% discount on any Altec Lansing dock speakers

I got mine from boots when they had 10% off plus the voucher code.

If your going to buy from boots I'd wait until next time they have a discout or double/triple points.

No they don't come with mains power, but do power through usb (provided)

Also if you shop from quidco.com you will get points I got £8.00!!

I can't fin the discount on the Altec Lansing speakers when on the educational site - how do I find it - and what price does this bring them down to?

Are you desperate to get your iPod yet? Lots of rumours about a new Video iPod coming out either late March/early April.
I got mine in January and i love it but after seeing all the rumour sites with possible mock-ups of how the new iPod will look :drool:

Where are these sites with rumours of a new video ipod? Problem with the net is that you always know about the 'next' thing before you get 'this' thing. If you waited all the time you would never buy anything!

If you buy a Video iPod from the Carphone Warehouse they will give you a free iTunes voucher, I think it is £15 for the 30gb iPod but may be a £25 one. You can sell these on eBay almost instantly if you take £1 off the face value of the voucher
