Hi there, I accidently stupidly ripped a cheque in half, vertically down the middle when I was sorting out some paperwork.
I have sellotaped it together, can I still pay it into my account or will I have to get another one issued?

Just tape it back together. Try to make it line up. Don't tape over the MICR line (the numbers at the bottom). What would William Shatner do?0

You may have to explain how it was ripped. If its for a relatively small amount they will probably accept it at the bank.0
