What to do with daughters accounts now

We opened a halifax regular childrens saver account for our daughter which has a fixed interest rate of 10.000% PA.it will reach its anniversary soon and the money will be transfered into her orninary save 4 it account which pays a lot less.
Which is the best account yo put this money in now?and is the save 4 it account still the best regular childrens savings account?

Also when we recieved her CTF Voucher we put it into a childrens Mutual account, but are also now wondering now that more companies are offering these accounts if we should be thinking of changing to another account?

Also we have just inherited £1000 and are looking for a high interest account to put it in for a few months until we work out what to do with it,which account is best?
