I am doing a correspondence course in IT.

Free of course, thanks to www.vision2learn.com!!!

I need word excel though, I have tried one free trial download, but it takes so long, that either my computer crashes (it is wireless and often crashes) or it turns itself off.

Which is the cheapest way to get excel???

    You'll probably qualify for Student n Teacher Edition of Office for about £80 which has Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint - Amazon have it here.
  • Have you thought about OpenOffice? Free, open source office suite and compatible with Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.
