And its not the first time! its like the 5th or 6th(though last time was like 2 years ago)
Bought a refurb PC from them, first was more the couriers fault as they came to my front door which is student accomodation and handed my parcel to the first person they met and even told them my name which the person claimed was them losing me my £400 pc, then spent about 2 weeks getting a replacement organised from them free of charge so that sounded good, but it arrived dead on arrival and I spent about an hour on a mobile so cost about £10-£20 on calls as they kept hanging up or telling me to phone another department.
Or in this case, phone up Dixons who the order was made from, be on hold for 10 minutes, then told to ring Tech Guys, phone Tech Guys be on hold for 20 minutes to be told as its a return I need I have to phone PC World, on hold for 20 minutes more to be told they cant authorise a return without the Tech Guys giving me a returns authority number, so back on for 10 minutes to Tech Guys who give me a returns number, and next time got through to Pc World fast but as I had to describe the fault took about 10 minutes.
Delivery was arranged but for some reason the earliest collection was 3 days later(how does that work when its DHL that collect it) so the day came but it was very heavy snow so DHL never bothered arriving, and the phone lines were busy again the next day and Dixons were closed at the weekend
The first time I got a chance to ring was tonight and I phoned PC World to be told I have to phone Dixons to arrange a return and they close at 6pm!
I feel like banging my head against the wall as its all the same company so why cant they rearrange collection considering this is same number and department I rang last time to arrange a collection.
