Peugeot 406 - anyone have a haines manual.
Hi
My husbands car has a problem where the windows steam up
No seriously they steam up really badly when driving along even with the vents on full blast. He checked his user manual and it said to make sure the windows were clean of grease - done that still steaming. It also said to change the pollen filter unfortunatley it didn't actually mention where the said filter was.
So I was wondering if any of you lovely people out there have a Haines Manual and could direct us to the pollen filter.
Many Thanks
kazd

I've got the Haynes manual for the post 1999 MK2 model. It says the pollen filter is in the passenger side inlet at the base of the windscreen. It suggests setting the wipers in the upright position before trying to remove it.
If you're having that kind of condensation problem, I doubt it's the filter, unless there is water sitting in the bottom of the housing. It's more likely to be a leak somewhere in the heating / ventilation system, possibly the heater matrix.
Good luck!

I don't know if you have Air Conditioning but if you do, put it on full bast to the screeen for a few mins.
Works for me on a Scenic.I used to be indecisive but now I am not sure.0
