Hiya everyone after much procastinating i received DLA forms in early Jan filled them in and posted them back. After reading all the DLA horror stories on these forums i really was in two minds but thought i would give it a go.
I got a letter from them yesterday saying they had received my claim on the 10th feb and were looking into it.................
today i got my award letter im getting middle rate care (thought it would have been high rate care to be honest) but im not complaining, took them 9 days to process and pay my benefit without any problems involving gp, or consultant etc.
Im happy so my message is if you think your entitled apply now.
good luck everyone

What good news, well done. It's a good feeling isn't it, mine coming through was the first bit of good news in seven months. It matters not if you try and fail, and fail and try again; But it matters much if you try and fail, and fail to try again.
